We have two (precious and adorable) boy's waiting for us in Ethiopia.
I have written the very long story down, but in the end decided just to summarize.
THE LORD SPOKE...WE ARE OBEYING
Although, this was extremely unexpected to us, the Lord had been preparing us for months that a step of faith was ahead. We are resting (most of the time:) in His victory on the Cross, His promises and perfect character. As a follower of Jesus, there are seasons where His calling is very clear to enter into the Land that He has prepared, promised...and is continuing to make ready. It does not mean that it is the easy or safe journey that one anticipates; rather, it is the opportunity to follow Christ on an incredible journey of faith and hope. This is that season for us. It is a sweet time as we bask in His presence, feel His grace poured out on us in abundance, and trust His plans for our life. We have earnestly sought the Lord in this decision. We are resting in His words from Scripture and His gentle words spoken to our hearts.
We have seen the need...we have heard His Words...we will not walk away.
the Lord looks from heaven, He sees all the sons of men...He who fashions the hearts of them all.

REJOICING for these two boys waiting on their parents! And soooo ecstatic about the future your 4 sons have as they grow up together! As always, you inspire us to know and love our Father with an abandon that this world calls crazy, but that we know he has called us to! Love you all!
ReplyDeleteYAY! Cannot WAIT for the big boy Lowe's to be home (in Asia:)! Thank you for listening to the Lord and obeying him...there is so much joy found in obeying a perfect holy master!! You all will make such a beautiful family and will speak of the Lord's goodness and faithfulness...just by walking down the street together! Sooo excited!
