home

Moments after we were met.
just look at those sweet brothers

All four boys love to sing and act out
"The Lord's Army" and "Father Abraham"

We have named T "Slugger"
We are not sure if he has ever been able to practice that swing,
but he sure knows how to hit it out of the park.

Exercise time with Daddy

Movie time
A few moments of quiet for the parents

The past week has been full of some hard moments as well as a lot of really joyous ones.  There is much to process and much I want to capture through writing but the energy and time are just not adequate on this night.

My heart does want to express my gratitude that the Lord is good...and He has been so good to us.  He is using everything for His good to refine us, to unite us as a family and show us His perfect, everlasting love.
Our family longs to sing and tell of His glory all of our days.
He is writing our story.
How the Father chooses to write our story just keeps getting sweeter and a whole lot busier!

We so appreciate all of your prayers on our behalf...words could not express our thankfullness.

  2. Wow! It is amazing to have met T and Y in Addis and now I see them in your home, with your family! Truly awesome. I can't believe that will be our reality "soon." I will be praying for you in this transition. I imagine it is a lot to take in.

  3. So jealous:) Those FOUR sweet faces lined up on that couch...oh my!!! Too precious!!! Praying that grace and peace will flow in the hard moments and that even greater joy and thankfulness is felt in the super fantastic moments. Love you Lowes!

    my thoughts on the pics-
    * That hug that E is giving T!?!? Yummy!
    * N's face in the first pic. Too funny!
    * I LOVE knowing those arms of Y's are now close and able to wrap around his Daddy and Mommy. Every. Day!
    * "Slugger" is cute, but is E's helmet a tad big? :D
    * I love that in all the pics, the boys are "mixed"...it's never the littles beside each other and the bigs beside each other...big, little, big, little!

What a faithful God we serve!
